Oxylus Flash Components

Due to client demand we made an advanced version of our video background product that includes a controls bar with auto-hide.

This tool fills up the entire background with specified videos. It can be used for full flash websites, intros or just about any project that would benefit from a background video player.

You can also embed the file in your html page with a fixed size and it will act like a regular video player, it doesn't have to be full browser.

You can customize the control bar position (top/bottom, left/center/right), width and all the colors. If the video title text is too long, it will scroll.

It can host an unlimited number of videos in the playlist, it can shuffle, repeat playlist (or just a single file like a looping video).

It can have a nice scanline effect which you can turn off or customize it's transparency.

You can also change the default volume from the xml.

It can play all video formats supported by Flash Player 9 (flv, mov, mp4, h.264 etc.).

It's light weight (just 35KB file size).

Settings you can change from the XML file:
- ALL control bar colors (lines, buttons background, buttons normal & mouseover colors, transparent volume bar color & alpha, spectrum eq bars color)
- control bar width (ex. 300)
- control bar placement top/bottom
- control bar alignment left/center/right
- control bar distance from screen edge (y positioning of the bar relative to the alignment settings)
- control bar auto-hide on/off
- auto-hide hitzone height
- auto-hide wait time
- spectrum eq variant alpha on/off (change eq bars transparency relative to sound volume)
- spectrum eq sample time
- text scrolling time
- text scrolling wait time (how long it will wait before scrolling the longer text)
- text scrolling animation type (ex. ease out quad)
- all mouseover help text (ex. Play previous video in playlist, Volume
- scanlines effect over video on/off
- scanlines alpha
- video alpha
- initial sound volume on load (0 = mute)
- shuffle (random) on/off
- repeat the playlist on/off
- start paused on load on/off
- video path and video title for all the videos in the playlist (unlimited)
